Terms of Service / End User License Agreement (EULA)

These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pixara application (“App”, “Pixara”, “we”, “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use Pixara.

1. Definitions

User: anyone who downloads, installs, or uses the Pixara App.
Proxy Participation: limited, controlled use of your public internet connection for legitimate network operations as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Trusted Partners: verified third-party services authorized to use the shared connection in a safe and compliant manner.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Pixara. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of the Service

Pixara provides macOS image and video browsing features without invasive tracking or intrusive advertising. To support the free version of the App, Pixara may securely allow limited use of your device’s public IP address by trusted network partners. No personal files, messages, browsing activity, or device content are accessed by this component.

4. Connection Sharing Agreement

By using the App, you agree that certain features may require participation in a controlled, secure connection-sharing system. When active, a small portion of your internet connection may be used to route limited, anonymized traffic for legitimate business purposes, such as web testing or public content verification.

• Only your public IP address and technical network data are used.
• No personal files, passwords, or local device content are accessed.
• Traffic is restricted to vetted, lawful, and monitored use cases.

You may opt out at any time by disabling the relevant feature in the App settings (where available) or by uninstalling the App, which fully stops participation.

5. Third-Party Software Integration

Some premium or enhanced features of Pixara may rely on third-party SDKs and network partners to enable secure connection sharing and monetization. By using these features, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Details about the data processed and safeguards in place are described in the Privacy Policy.

6. User Conduct

You agree that you will not:

• Use the App or any proxy component for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with, disable, or bypass the connection-sharing or security systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except where permitted by law.
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App.
• Rent, lease, sublicense, resell, or distribute the App to third parties.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms.

7. Ownership

The App is licensed, not sold. Pixara LTD and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights, except for the limited license expressly granted to you under these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PIXARA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PARTICULAR USE CASE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXARA LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR USING THE APP.

10. Modifications to the App or Terms

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the App and ceasing all use. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially breach these Terms or use the App in a fraudulent, abusive, or harmful manner. Upon termination, you must stop using Pixara and remove it from your devices.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Sweden.
